Save my S — Privacy Policy

Save my S processes text entirely inside your browser.

We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share any data.

Text you type or paste into supported AI chat pages (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and the others listed in the extension’s settings) is scanned locally using regex. The scanning never leaves your device.
Your settings — which detectors are enabled, any custom regex patterns you’ve added, your domain allowlist — and a detection counter are stored in your browser’s local storage, on your machine only.
No accounts. No sign-ups. No analytics. No telemetry. No third-party services.

We do not read, store, or transmit the content of your prompts anywhere outside your browser.
We do not sell or share any information.
We do not use remote code — all JavaScript runs from the installed extension package.

If you uninstall the extension, Chrome removes all of its local data automatically.

Storage — save your settings and detection counter locally.
Tabs — read the current tab’s URL in the popup so it can show “Active on [site]” and offer a one-click disable. The URL is never transmitted.
Host permissions (the listed AI chat sites) — allow the content script to scan prompts and show the redaction confirmation modal before they’re sent.
